Another New Jersey State League of Municipalities Conference in the Books!
On the week before Thanksgiving, the New Jersey State League of Municipalities held its 109th annual conference at the Atlantic City Convention Center. This event serves as the first major event post-election day where thousands of municipal and state government employees come together and share their ideas with others.
The event also served as a major battleground for all 2025 gubernatorial candidates. Which featured Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, Congressman Josh Gottheimer, and former Senate President Steve Sweeney for the Democrats; along with 2021 Republican Nominee for Governor Jack Ciatarelli, State Senator Jon Bramnick, and 101.5 Radio Host Bill Spadea for the Republicans. In addition, former State Senator Ed Durr was in attendance but has not reported any contributions to date.
Both Bramnick and Sherrill hosted receptions of their own, making them the only two gubernatorial candidates to hold an event at the conference.
Bramnick posted pictures from his event on X saying, “Thank you to the hundreds of supporters who joined with me tonight at the Borgata for the Bramnick for Governor event.” In the two pictures features Assemblyman Robert Auth (R-Bergen), Mercer County GOP Chair Patricia Johnson, Morris County GOP Chair Laura Ali, and Bridgewater Mayor Matt Moench. Notably, the Morris County GOP has been sharing Bramnick for Governor posts frequently.
The 2025 race for New Jersey Governor is heating up, who do you think will win?
