Assemblyman Robert Auth Endorses Jon Bramnick for Governor
New Jersey State Assemblyman Robert Auth has formally endorsed Jon Bramnick for Governor of New Jersey.
“I wholeheartedly endorse Jon Bramnick to be the next Governor of New Jersey,” Auth said in a statement. “He is the only Republican candidate who can win the general election and he will bring the authentic, consistent, honest leadership we need to the Governor’s office.”
It is a pretty significant endorsement from Auth, (R-Bergen) who has been a stalwart supporter of President Donald Trump dating back to Trump’s first campaign for President in 2016. On the other hand, Bramnick (R-Union) has been a staunch critic of the President-elect for many years. Bramnick has consistently said that if Trump continues to define the New Jersey GOP then the NJGOP will be the minority party for a very long time. He also has criticized his opponents over fighting for “who loves Donald Trump the most” and that the gubernatorial race should be about “who loves New Jersey the most.” Bramick has also scored endorsements from former Congressmen Leonard Lance and Rodney Frelinghuysen, and multiple local party and municipal leaders.
Auth is up for re-election in 2025 and is running with freshman Assemblyman John Azzariti.
