MASSIVE CROWD Shows Up for Justin Musella's Annual Valentine's Day Fundraiser
The #1 Young Republican in New Jersey is challenging incumbent Mayor James Barberio
PARSIPPANY - With over 200 residents piling in at Social Hub by Dhaba, Justin Musella is stating his claim that he is in this race to win it. Numerous elected and local leaders came out showing their support for Musella, including Middletown Mayor Tony Perry. Perry was Musella’s keynote speaker for the big event. He called for a new change in Parsippany and endorsed Musella in his uphill battle for Mayor.
Justin Musella addressed the excited crowd who are seeking new leadership in their town. A campaign staffer handed Musella a piece of paper which he raised in his right hand. The paper was a copy of an exclusive Central Jersey Newswire (CJN) story, which slammed Barberio for fundraising money for a liberal Super PAC called America’s Future First. The event is being held at the Capitol Grille in Parsippany in the last week of February, costing $5,000 for one person to attend. According to CJN, the PAC funded Democrat Amy Kennedy’s bid for Congress in 2020 when she took on Republican Jeff Van Drew.
“Last night’s overwhelming success sends a message that our movement to end Parsippany’s cycle of overtaxation, taxpayer-funded overdevelopment, and local mismanagement is continuing to grow,” Musella told NJO.
Musella has been involved in Garden State politics for quite some time now. He served as the Morris County Young Republicans Chair for a few years until he was elected to the Parsippany Council in 2021. He has been a huge proponent of fighting overtaxation. He made massive headlines in late 2023 when he opposed PILOT programs that would have raised local taxes and underfunded the school system. In addition, Musella serves on the America’s Future (not to be confused with the Super PAC listed above) Northeast Regional Hub Board of Directors, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to molding the future leaders of the liberty movement.
This local primary is one of the most competitive the state has to offer this cycle. Things are getting extremely heated between both sides. If Musella defeats Barberio, it would be an upset for the ages.
