Former News 12 Power and Politics Anchor and founder of ALFA PAC, Alex Zdan has endorsed Jack Ciattarelli for Governor.
“Four years ago as a TV reporter, I watched from the sidelines as Jack nearly defeated Phil Murphy. I saw it all up close and I can tell you: no one campaigns harder than Jack Ciattarelli,” Zdan said in an email to supporters. “It's time to finish the job. Now, we have something unique. We have a second chance. A chance to repair the devastation of Murphy and restore our state. It's our chance. It's our time. It's time for Jack Ciattarelli to be our Governor.”
Zdan continued, “I'm encouraging all my fellow Mercer County committee members to vote for Jack at our convention Monday. And I'll do whatever I can between now and November to make sure Jack is elected Governor. It's our time. Join us.”
After leaving News 12, Zdan launched his political career by running for U.S. Senate last year becoming part of the Republican mainstream in New Jersey. He withdrew his candidacy and endorsed Curtis Bashaw for Senate. After his senatorial run, Zdan founded ALFA PAC, which supports candidates who showcase authentic conservative leadership.
